Highest IPL Score 2024: SRH defeats RCB -287/3

The IPL 2024 season is really heating up with teams smashing records left and right! Sunrisers Hyderabad just blew everyone away by scoring a jaw-dropping 287 for three against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 15, 2024. It’s not just a record for them; it’s the second-highest total ever in T20 cricket, just behind Nepal’s crazy 314/3 against Mongolia last year.

But wait, that’s not all. Sunrisers Hyderabad isn’t new to this game. They previously rocked the stadium with a massive 277/3 against Mumbai Indians. That match was insane, with the highest T20 aggregate ever and a shower of sixes raining down.

And they’re not the only ones on fire. Kolkata Knight Riders also put on a spectacular show, hitting 272 for seven against Delhi Capitals. Only Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Lucknow Super Giants have also breached the 250 mark in IPL history.

Remember when RCB set the bar over a decade ago? They scored 263 against Pune Warriors India thanks to Chris Gayle’s legendary 175 not out. But now, SRH is threatening to rewrite history with another smashing performance against RCB in Bengaluru. Travis Head led the charge with a lightning-fast century in just 39 balls, and even after he got out, Heinrich Klaasen and Aiden Markram kept the momentum going, crossing 200 runs in just 15 overs.
