The Spiritual Journey of Ramadan: Reflection, Growth, and the Anticipation of Eid-ul-Fitr
The Muslim community used this past month to contemplate and grow as they observed the holy month of Ramadan. It was a time for seeking forgiveness, mending relationships, and tending to the spirit via prayer, meditation, and deeds of kindness, not merely forgoing food and liquids throughout the day.
Muslims all throughout the world are now excitedly awaiting the sighting of the Shawwal crescent moon, which signifies the start of Eid-ul-Fitr and the beginning of a new month in the Islamic lunar calendar, as Ramadan comes to a conclusion.
Eid-ul-Fitr is a happy event, a time for community gathering, celebration, and peace.
If the crescent moon is visible on April 8th, India will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on April 9th, 2024. In the event that it doesn’t, the celebration will take place on April 10 or 11.
